The Mayor of Havant, Councillor Peter Wade, visited St Clare's Church in Warren Park to talk to Community Payback officers and those in the scheme about how their work benefits the borough.

Community Payback enables people on probation to work in the community and is the result of a partnership between Havant Borough Council and the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Community Rehabilitation Company.

Recently teams cleared litter, debris and vegetation from Warren Park, Leigh Park, Stockheath Common, Wecock and West Leigh. Cllr Wade said: '˜I'm proud the council has been able to help deliver such a successful scheme and I hope this partnership can continue into the future.'
