A CHARITY fundraiser with a twist is being organised by a children’s centre.
The Rainbow Centre, in Fareham, will be working with officers from Hampshire Constabulary for their Jail and Bail event.
Fake prisoners from across the area will be ‘arrested’ by off-duty uniformed officers and be held captive until the money for their bail is raised.
The Rainbow Centre, on Palmerston Drive, is behind the arrests which will happen on May 14.
Lara Bull, centre director said: ‘After the incredible success of our appeal we have been able to launch into our 25th Anniversary celebrations with confidence.
‘The Jail and Bail event is one of our main fundraising events this year and we are hoping to “arrest” 25 people and raise at least £25,000.’
Companies signed up for arrests include Paris Smith LLP, Solent Mobility, Ariel Communications, Matchtech Group, BAE Systems, Vane Cross Training, DDB Physio, James Cowper and Fairways Care UK.
