CUSTOMERS voted for three charities to be given donations from a supermarket.

Tesco Extra in Havant recently donated cheques totalling £1,500 to local organisations Over The Wall, Off The Record and Southern Domestic Abuse Service.

Children’s charity Over The Wall received the top donation of £750.

Meanwhile, Southern Domestic Abuse Service was given a £500 boost and the Off The Record young people’s counselling and support service was granted £250.

Matt Puryer, manager of the Solent Road store, said: ‘All three of these charities mean a lot to our customers and we are delighted to have been able to support them in this way.’
