MEMBERS of a choir have handed over cash to charities after a series of concerts.

Money raised at performances by the Widley-based ladies’ group Reflections during 2013 was split between two good causes.

Macmillan Cancer Support and Hampshire and IOW Air Ambulance each received £400 after being nominated by choir members.

The group has added to its wide repertoire of costume and song.

Secretary Janet Williams said: ‘The new entertainment programmes we now have are proving to be very popular and we would like to thank all those organisations who have received our entertainment for continuing to support us.

‘The numerous songs with appropriate costume changes always seem to be so appreciated and we are always commented upon for the fun we obviously transmit into our performances.

‘Long may it continue!

‘We all so enjoy giving our time so freely to the many charities we have contributed to over the years.’
