DOZENS of people put their pedal power to the test to raise money for charity.

The Beneficial Foundation in Portsmouth – a charity which provides education, training and rehabilitation for disadvantaged adults and those with special needs – organised a cycle challenge to raise vital funds and awareness about the work it does.

Crowds of people took turns on exercise bikes and helped raise £340.

The fundraiser was part of the charity’s Road to Health campaign – which aims to promote healthy lifestyles.

Jennie Brent, chief executive of the charity, said: ‘It was a really good event. It was a great chance to promote healthy lifestyles to our client group and raise awareness about the charity’s work.’
