WATCH out! Pirates will be out and about capturing employees and holding them for ransom.

Captured is an annual event held by Action for Children which encourages businesses to give to the charity by having a fundraiser.

On May 23, Action For Children pirates will be going into nominated workplaces and capturing colleagues.

To be released, the colleague has to raise £750 which will go towards the Action For Children Wessex Fostering initiative which helps vulnerable people in Portsmouth and surrounding areas.

HMS Warrior, in the Historic Dockyard, Portsmouth, will be where they wait until the money is paid.

Ray Muscat, from Colas, took part last year and really enjoyed the day.

He said: ‘It was a really fun experience. All of the staff at Colas were cheering as the Action For Children pirates bundled me into a car.’
