ORGANISERS have been forced to postpone a charity ghost hunting evening this weekend due to slow ticket sales.

Tom Ingram, 17, and his brother Harry, 14, organised the charity ghost hunt at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard this Saturday.

But the summer holidays and people spending money elsewhere has hit the brothers’ fundraising events.

The brothers, of Chatsworth Avenue in Cosham, are raising money for the Rocky Appeal at Queen Alexandra Hospital through their Muddles Fundraising Mission charity.

The charity was launched in memory of their mum Karen, who passed away in 2008 aged 40 after being diagnosed with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.

Disappointed Tom said: ‘The event has had to be postponed due to it being the summer and people are spending their money on other things such as holidays and days out, which is having quite a serious effect on our fundraising events.’

He is hoping to hold the event in November.
