A charity pub quiz held at the Hampshire Rose in Widley raised more than £700 for guide dogs.
The event was held last month and saw teams of up to six people compete. There was a raffle and a performing magician.
In total £719.23 was raised for Guide Dogs UK – a charity that supports the blind and partially-sighted
The quiz night was organised by Danielle Thomas, who herself is a guide dog owner.
She said: ‘This charity is very close to my heart and it has changed my life massively by giving me the support which has enabled me to re gain my confidence and independence.
‘I’m really pleased with the amount we raised in just a single night.’
