PEOPLE interested in climbing Mount Kilimanjaro are being urged to come forward and join a national convoy of trekkers.

Becky Middleton, 25, of Waterlooville, is helping to organise the trek for charity Child’s i Foundation.

The UK-based company helps abandoned children and vulnerable mothers in Uganda.

The trek is expected to take place at the end of July or beginning of August this year.

Becky said: ‘We’re getting a team of people from all over the UK to take part for a worthwhile cause.’
