THE future of Chichester’s historic Priory Park is coming under scrutiny by the city and district councils.

They have declared they are working together to look at ways in which it can be improved.

‘The park is popular with tourists and locals, and we will be working with the city council to make sure that it continues to attract people to the area in the future,’ said Eileen Lintill, district cabinet member for leisure and wellbeing.

Cllr Lintill said they will be bidding for funds from organisations such as Heritage Lottery Funding and Sport England.
