Attempt murder probe: second man arrested

Have your say

A NINE-month-old toddler had to be freed from a car after its mother accidentally locked the child inside.

The mum, in her late 20s, dialled 999 at 1.28pm yesterday after she parked her car behind Brides of Portsmouth shop, in Fratton Road, Fratton. She closed the boot, but the doors locked and the keys were still on the driver’s seat.

Southsea firefighters removed the passenger window and safely freed the child.
