Children to shape the future of Fareham play park

CHILDREN are being given the chance to choose what equipment should be built at a Fareham play area.

Titchfield play area at Barry's Meadow is being refitted by Fareham Borough Council '“ which is now asking youngsters to give their input on what the park should have.

People will be able to choose a new junior climbing unit '“ as well as pick two items to replace the current black stepping stones and spinner.

Cllr Sue Bell, said: '˜We want to encourage children to get off their screens and outside playing.

'˜It is important children get to choose what equipment they want to play on.'
