ENTHUSIASTIC singers are needed to boost numbers at a contemporary choir.

SINGsational Voices, a choir for beginners and experienced singers that meets in Bursledon, is looking for new members.

Choir director Erica Maggs said: ‘The only pressure we put on people is to make sure they have fun.

‘It’s a very social evening with drinks and a natter afterwards plus lots of laughs with amusing vocal warm-ups.

‘We are looking for people to come and find how easy it is to sing your heart out and create harmonies with songs as varied as an African Lullaby, pop songs, songs from the Sixties and some gospel.’

SINGsational Voices Bursledon will meet every Tuesday from September 16 at the Pilands Wood Community Centre from 7.30pm until 9pm.

Another group is also held on Wednesday evenings at Curdridge Reading Room, Reading Room Lane, Curdridge.

The first session is free. For more information call 07858 686286 or go to
