LIVE music, stalls selling gifts and a range of food and drink will be part of a Christmas Festival.

Coastguard Studio and The Village Pop-up have organised the event on Castle Road, in Southsea, for this weekend and hundreds of people are expected to go along.

The street will have more than 40 independent traders at the festival selling a range of items from candles, homeware and jewellery to craft ales, condiments and clothes.

There will also be food stalls selling sweets, cakes, mulled wine and mulled cider along with hot food.

Bands including The Racketeers and Silhouettes will be playing on Saturday with Lucid Rising and Jukebox Jumpin among the bands for Sunday.

The Castle Road Christmas lights will also be turned on during the two-day festival.

The event is on Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 5pm.
