Cigarettes start fire at Port Solent
SMOKING cigarette butts sparked an emergency.
Firefighters rushed to Port Solent after smoke was spotted at Port Solent near the Watermark bar.
Cigarettes still burning caused smoke to come up through the boardwalk at 2am on Saturday morning.
Firefighters said no evacuation was needed.
One appliance from Cosham tackled the ‘smouldering debris.
