Clipper yacht race in final leg

The boats have spent the past 10 months at sea travelling from London to Brazil across to Africa and Australia, through Asia and to the United States of America.

Now they are racing on their final leg back to England.

Gosport skipper Greg Miller and his Mission Performance team are in seventh place. Max Stunell, from Portsmouth, is in ninth position with his PSP Logistics crew.

Greg said his crew were highly motivated due to being in close company over the last day.

‘It has been fun catching to within a few miles of the Great Britain and Garmin boats and working hard to stay with them,’ he said.
