Club for radio hams moves to new home

The Horndean and District Amateur Radio Club will move to a new venue and meet on a different day.

From September 2, it will be meeting at Deverell Hall, Purbrook, on the first and third Friday of each month.

The new venue will allow better training facilities.

Meetings start at 7.30pm and the club says all visitors are welcome.

Horndean and District Amateur Radio Club welcome licensed radio amateurs, short-wave listeners, and anyone who is 
generally interested in electronics.

It is are able to offer for all three levels of Amateur Radio Licence (Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced).
