STAFF at Fareham-based HMS Collingwood have raised more than £350 with a charity coffee morning.

The annual World’s Biggest Coffee Morning was hosted by Babcock employees Hayley Packer and Steve Matthews, who donated money raised from selling cakes and hot drinks to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Hayley said: ‘Everyone has been so generous, it’s amazing.’

Macmillan is close to both their hearts, as it has helped people in their lives diagnosed with the disease.

Steve added: ‘It’s a simple way to help, we just felt compelled to do something.’

More help came from local businesses, including Vending Solutions of Park Gate, which donated 600 hot drinks.

ASDA provided serviettes and plates, while Cake Boxes Direct supplied cupcake boxes.
