THESE beautiful cushions have been donated to the hospice that cared for a member of the textile group that made them.
Members of the Fimbria Creative Textile Group, based at Wallington Community Centre in Wallington, made the 10 cushions in tribute to Jean Whitehead who died at the Rowans Hospice, based at Purbrook.
Her husband Paul gave scraps of her material to the group to make the cushions.
Lesley Woodcock, community fundraiser for the hospice, said: ‘A lot of work went into them – they’re beautifully made.
‘I’ve contacted one of our local volunteer support groups and hopefully they will be able to auction or raffle them. The chairwoman is very keen.
‘They will raise much needed funds and we very much appreciate Paul thinking of the hospice.’
