THERE is set to be a party atmosphere on Hayling Island as a new fundraising scheme is launched.

The Southern Co-operative is relaunching its community support card scheme and has organised a fun day at Hayling College on Sunday from 1pm to 4pm.

Activities will include zumba, face painting, a football competition, ‘Mr Tall’ the clown, and food sampling.

The aim is to raise £30,000, which will be split between Hayling United Football Club and The Bridge Advice Centre. Last year Hayling Island Community Centre and Mill Rythe Infant School received £25,000 between them.
