ENGINEERS have been called to fix temporary traffic lights that are stuck on red.
Hampshire Constabulary was alerted to a problem with the lights at the junction of Gladys Avenue and North End Avenue, North End, Portsmouth, at 5.35am today.
Workers from Colas – who maintain the city’s roads – have been out fixing the problem since 5.50am.
It comes after congestion caused delays for city centre drivers last night when traffic lights failed in Anglesea Road, Portsmouth.
The problems had started at about 6pm and engineers were called to fix the problem.
Police say there are no reported delays on the route this morning.
