FIREFIGHTERS were called to a small fire in Titchfield yesterday.

Squads from Gosport Fire Station and Hardley Fire Station went to High Street, in Titchfield, after being alerted by an Automatic Fire Alarm at 9.39am.

The alarm was tripped by a small cooker fire.

The firefighters used two breathing apparatus, a hose reel and two pumps.

The area was clear at 10.14am.

There were no injuries.
