Cookery sessions up for grabs at Stubbington Ark Halloween ball

A ONE-ON-ONE cookery lesson with a celebrity chef is one of the prizes on offer at a Halloween ball later this month.

Stubbington Ark animal shelter is hosting its ‘Spooktacular Halloween ball’ on October 29 at Titchfield Community Centre in Mill Lane.

Fancy dress is optional and all proceeds will go to the Ark.

Amongst the prizes in the auction are a cooking session with TV chef Jimmy Garcia, a signed cookbook from the chef, a kitesurfing lesson, gym memberships and an MOT.

There will be live music at the event, a Black Jack table and food for the guests.

The shelter is hoping that the event raises a minimum of £2,000, with tickets costing £20 each.

Taylor Events is organising the event and a spokeswoman for the group said: ‘It’s going to be a spooktacular night! We are incredibly lucky that Jimmy Garcia has donated a one-on-one cooking session for our auction.’
