CHILDREN who go to a Cosham church’s children’s club can look forward to a bigger venue for their next meeting.
The Cosham Baptist Church will be bringing back its Kidz Klub on Friday, May 6, following a two-week break due to the bank holidays.
Due to its popularity, the club is being moved to a bigger room in the church in Havant Road.
The Rev Simon Ford said: ‘There are probably about 40 to 50 children attending the club each week.
‘And the next meeting will be exciting because it is being held in a bigger room.
‘The club has a mixture of singing, games and learning Christian values.’
The church usually runs the club for junior school children in years three to six.
But because an Easter holiday club, called Mission Rescue: Holiday Club, was successful, the Friday sessions will be open to children in year two. The club takes place each Friday from 4.45pm to 6.15pm and costs £1.
