TWO firefighters are making the final preparations for a physical challenge to raise money and get more people to sign the organ donor register.

Crew manager Stuart Vince and firefighter Phil Jackson of Cosham blue watch, will run from Portsmouth’s Queen Alexandra Hospital to Land’s End.

For 11 days they will be running an average of 26 miles, before they will row back from Penzance to Gunwharf Quays.

The challenge starts on Sunday, May 20, where people are welcome to join the first leg between QA to Southampton General Hospital.
