PEOPLE are being invited to spruce up their area by organising a spring clean. East Hampshire District Council is inviting residents to borrow litter-pickers and high-visibility jackets.

Greg Hutton-Squire, the council’s contracts supervisor, said: ‘Some parishes call us regularly to borrow our litter-pickers, high-visibility vests and to arrange the collection of their full bin bags. It can be a great community event.’
