LETTER OF THE DAY: Why tear up our Peace Garden?

Have your say

NEIGHBOURS mistakenly took steam from a balcony as smoke from a fire.

The alarm was raised at 1am today to Pickwick House, in Wingfield Street, Buckland.

Steam was seen coming from the balcony off a block of flats.

Southsea fire station sent two crews plus the aerial ladder platform and Cosham sent two crews and the special equipment unit.

When they arrived, they investigated and found it to be steam.
