FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze in an attic.

Two crews from Southsea fire station went to Priorsdean Avenue, in Milton, at 3pm yesterday.

Firefighters used two breathing apparatus while putting out the fire.

The crews used a hose reel, and one ladder to get into the roof space.

It was put out by the crews by 3.50pm and nobody was injured in the blaze.

The extent of the damage is not known but the fire was small.
