12-year-old boy robbed in Portsmouth

A 12-year-old boy was robbed of his phone by two teenagers in Portsmouth

The youngster was targeted in Angerstein Road, North End, on Tuesday, between 6.50pm and 7.10pm.

He had just got off of a bus in London Road, close to Gemini News, when two boys started to talk to him.

They all headed towards Angerstein Road but once in the road, one of the boys punched the victim in the stomach and the other pulled the victim to the ground. The robbers stole an iPhone 4.

Both are thought to be aged 14. One was described by the victim as ‘chubby’, about 5ft 3ins with black spiky hair. He had a local accent and was riding a blue or black bike.

The second attacker was of medium build and wore black-rimmed glassed, which were straight at the top.

He wore a jumper with a dark-red coloured body and white sleeves and dark jeans

Police say the young victim was left very shaken by this attack and police would like to find the boys responsible.
