SHOPLIFTER Terence Miller has been jailed.

Miller stole meat worth almost £49 from the Co-op in Highlands Road, Fareham.

The 29-year-old also stole £18 of meat from the Southern Co-op in Gudge Heath Lane, Fareham.

Miller, from Gibraltar Close, Fareham, pleaded guilty to two counts of theft when he appeared at Fareham Magistrates’ Court.

He was sentenced to 90 days in prison.

Magistrates made no order for compensation or costs.
