ABUSIVE behaviour from a resident has landed him with a criminal record.

Stuart Edmond Green, 61, of Elmer Road, Bognor, West Sussex, has been convicted of causing harassment and alarm or distress.

Worthing Magistrates’ Court heard he approached residents and shouted abuse at them and threatened them in a campaign of harassment.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: ‘Anti-social behaviour and harassment will not be tolerated.’

Green was given a one-year community order, an indefinite restraining order not to contact four people he has been harassing, or display posters, leaflets, photographs or film these four people.

He was also given a six-month curfew and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and costs of £1,325.
