A BIKE costing more than £200 was stolen from the porch of a Gosport home.

Police officers are appealing for information after a mountain bike was stolen from a property in Southway, Bridgemary, Gosport.

The bike was taken from inside a front porch between 5.15pm and 6.15pm on Thursday, October 31.

It is a white Carrera Valour mountain bike worth £249, and belongs to a 14-year-old girl who had saved her own money to buy the bike.

Homeowners are reminded to ensure all windows and external doors are secured in unoccupied rooms.
