Appeal is launched after vehicle is stolen from train station

A COUPLE are appealing for help after their treasured 12-seater Land Rover Defender was stolen from a railway station car park.

The R-registered white vehicle was taken from Petersfield railway station between 7am and 9am on Monday.

The couple, from South Harting, near Petersfield, have owned the car since 1999 and have driven it all over Europe with their five children.

A spokesman for British Transport Police said: ‘I can confirm we are investigating the theft of a Land Rover from the car park at Petersfield station.’
