A MAN has gone missing from Gosport.

Hampshire police have issued an appeal to find David Whittaker, 34, who was reported missing from Gosport on Thursday afternoon.

Mr Whittaker is white, of a medium build with wavy ear-length hair and brown/green eyes.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a green jacket, a check shirt, red shoes and carrying a purple handbag.

Mr Whittaker is known to have connections in Sussex, Surrey, London, Kent and Cornwall.

Police are appealing for Mr Whittaker to contact them to let them know his location and that he is safe.

Anyone with sightings of him or information about his whereabouts and welfare is asked to contact police by phoning 101.

Police said Mr Whittaker is likely to be in a vulnerable condition that can make his behaviour unpredictable.
