Appeal for witnesses to Fareham crash that left cyclist with life-changing injuries

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an accident that left a cyclist with life-changing injuries.

As reported, the collision took place at 1.05pm on Wednesday in Highlands Road, Fareham and involved a 35-year old cyclist and a silver Mercedes A Class car.

The cyclist sustained life-changing injuries to his head and his spine. He is in a critical condition.

Officers from Havant Roads Policing Unit would like to hear from anyone who saw a white man riding a purple-coloured ladies’ mountain bike in the area or anyone who saw the collision. They would also like to hear from the driver of a white Peugeot Boxer van or similar that was seen to pull out from Stow Crescent just before the collision.
