£200 stolen from till of Portsmouth Aldi store

MONEY was stolen from a till in a Portsmouth Aldi store.

Police are looking for a man after the incident which happened at the store on Kingston Crescent, in Fratton.

Between 7.15pm and 7.25pm on March 21 a man snatched about £200 from one of the tills.

He went to pay for goods, however when the till opened, he grabbed a handful of notes and ran off.

He ran up one of the aisles, leaving via a rear fire door.

Police would like to speak to a man following the incident.

The man is white, in his mid to late 30s, of a medium build and around 6ft tall. He had dark stubble and was wearing casual clothing and a woollen hat.
