£220 bill for assault
A JUDGE ordered a man to do 100 hours of unpaid work.
Christopher Melhuish, 29, of Tutor Close, Southsea, admitted two charges of assault by beating and theft from Aldi on September 18.
He also admitted failing to surrender to custody and was detained at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.
He received a community order and must pay £50 compensation, an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
