ONE man was arrested after Pompey fans stormed the pitch after winning promotion to League One.

The News was contacted by readers concerned that several people had been arrested following the game at Notts County on April 17.

But when The News asked Nottinghamshire police about arrests, the force said just one man had been held.

The 33-year-old was arrested on suspicion of pitch incursion, but later released without charge.
