A MAN was slashed across the face with a knife in a city centre property.

The 36-year-old was attacked in East Walls, Chichester, at 1.35pm on Wednesday.

A 44-year-old was arrested later that day on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

He was bailed until March 24.

The men know each other.
