FUN and games were enjoyed at an event to Portsmouth’s first neighbourhood agreement.
The deal will see Portsea residents and agencies such as police, city council and fire service agree ways to make the area safer. It was launched with a fun day at the John Pounds Centre in Aylward Street, Portsea. Councillor Steve Wylie, in charge of housing, said: ‘Residents will work closer with local services and take more responsibility for their community. If successful this will ultimately improve the quality of people’s lives.’
