Assault lands man in prison
A MAN was jailed for six weeks after assaulting a woman.
Carl Kennedy, 23, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to assault by beating on November 14 last year in Fareham.
Fareham magistrates last month jailed him for six weeks.
The victim was working at a hostel at the time of the incident.
Kennedy’s guilty plea was taken into consideration when he was sentenced at Fareham Magistrates’ Court.
