AN attacker who assaulted two people has been jailed for five months by Portsmouth magistrates.

Anthony Williams, 31, of Milton Road, Portsmouth, admitted assaulting a person in St Mary’s Road, Portsmouth, and damaging a Nissan Juke car in the same street.

He had denied a charge of assaulting a woman in Milton Road Portsmouth but was found guilty.

Williams pleaded guilty to damaging a double-glazed unit belonging to Portsmouth City Council.

And he admitted a charge of failing to surrender to custody.
