A DRINK-DRIVER caught behind the wheel while more than twice the legal alcohol limit has been banned from the roads.

Stefan Clark pleaded guilty to committing the offence while driving a Ford Fiesta in Shearer Close, Havant.

A test revealed his breath contained 75 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35mcg.

Clark, 21, from Ludlow Road, Portsmouth, was fined £500 and told to pay a £55 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

He was banned from driving for 18 months by Portsmouth magistrates.
