A MAN caught driving while disqualified with cannabis on him has been jailed.

Dean Harris, 44, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid licence or insurance in Tichborne Way, Gosport, on New Year’s Eve.

He also admitted possessing class B drug cannabis and obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty in the same street on the same day.

Harris, of Iris Road, Southampton, was jailed for 22 weeks by Portsmouth magistrates. He was banned from driving for a year.
