A schoolboy was among 11 people arrested in Hampshire as part of a nationwide crackdown on drug-related violence.

Police swooped on addresses in Eastleigh and Southampton as other raids were carried out in London and Merseyside.

In all, 18 arrests were made, including a 14-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl in Hampshire.

Officers raided properties in St Mary’s, Thornhill, Millbrook, Northam, Southampton city centre, West End and Eastleigh between 6am and 8.30am yesterday morning.
