A 16-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged after a man was stabbed during a fight.

The teenager is accused of stabbing the 20-year-old in the arm pit in the attack in Allaway Avenue, Paulsgrove, Portsmouth.

The victim was treated at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham following the attack, which happened just after 4.45pm on July 19.

His injuries are described by police as ‘minor.’

The 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested and charged with attempted grievous bodily harm.

Three other people arrested in connection with the attack were later released with no further action.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident in Allaway Avenue or the build up to it to contact them.
