A MAN has admitted breaking into a primary school.

Gary Hudd broke into Craneswater Junior School in St Ronan’s Road, Southsea, on Monday, March 7, a court heard.

Hudd, of Waverley Road, Southsea, pleaded guilty to a charge of burglary when he appeared before Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

The 35-year-old was released on bail to give the probation service time to carry out a pre-sentence report.

He is due to be sentenced by Portsmouth magistrates on Wednesday, March 30.

Until then the court has ordered he must stay at his home address in Southsea every night.

Hudd must also report to the Portsmouth central police station, in Winston Churchill Avenue, three times a week.
