Burglar steals £10,000 of jewellery from Portsmouth home

A BURGLAR stole £10,000 worth of jewellery in a raid on a Southsea home.

The items were taken from a property in Burbridge Grove between September 29 and October 18.
Police released details today.
Some of the items had sentimental value and cannot be replaced. 
Items taken include: 
• Gold, emerald and diamond eternity ring
• Rose cut diamond ring in a white gold setting
• Necklaces in gold, white pearl and black jet crystal
• 1960 gold Omega gold watch with a black face
• Range of silver rings with distinctive designs
• Twisted silver wire bracelets with silver bead decorations
• Costume jewellery broaches
• Emerald and diamond earrings
A police spokesman said: ‘If you have been offered jewellery for sale in unusual circumstances or have any other information about the burglary, please contact Catherine Cole from Fratton CID on 101, quoting 44160393619.’
