BURGLARS stole gadgets including a laptop and iPod from a bungalow – and then dumped them next to a hedge outside.

Police say a group of men climbed over the side fence of the detached chalet-style bungalow in Sandport Grove, Fareham before smashing a window to get inside.

Then helped themselves to a JVC camcorder, Sony camera, a pink LG laptop, iPod and a bag of foreign currency and took them outside in a plastic bag.

But once outside they put the bag under a hedge and then walked off. A member of the public saw them dump the items, but police say they believe the burglars were unaware they were being watched.

Officers are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious between 3.15pm and 3.45pm on Thursday last week to contact them.

The first man had a tattoo, and was wearing a T-shirt and shorts. The second was wearing jeans and a white T-shirt.

All three were muscular and had short hair.

They are described as being about 5ft 10in and in their late 20s.

Another witness reported seeing three men in the area in a green metallic older-style car.
