BURGLARS targeted a teacher’s home while she and her husband slept upstairs.
The raiders removed the kitchen window from its frame to get in to the house in Orion Avenue, Gosport, between 11pm on October 31 and 8am on November 1.
A laptop that was stolen – a silver Novatec – contained lesson plans and presentations for the woman’s classes. Also taken were a purse, passport, camera equipment, hair straighteners, French make-up, foreign currency and a black and gold Converse bag with a mobile phone inside.
The laptop was in a black bag which contained stamps to mark French and Spanish work. No sensitive data is on the computer but the victim is keen to get it back so that her students’ academic progress is not affected.
The victim is offering a reward of up to £300 for information that leads to the return of the computer followed by an arrest and conviction.
Anyone who has information should call DC Dermot McBride at Fratton police station on 101 quoting 44150379613.
